All Age Music COVID-19 UPDATE as at 29 September, 2021
The roadmap to resume face-to-face lessons is here! The teachers and management team have decided to take a cautious and careful approach to how we restart lessons.
You’ll be pleased to know that ALL our teachers and staff members will return to the studio being double vaccinated, and our decision to stagger students and teachers is based on what’s best for our community.
At 70% and 80% double vaccination and based on NSW Health Orders and Advice:
- All relevant persons who are double vaccinated will be allowed to return to physical lessons. Everyone else must remain online.
- To minimise the amount of people who will enter our studios, all parents are required to do their QR code Check-in downstairs.
- QR code check-in is mandatory for anyone entering our studios including children
- No more than 3 people are allowed to wait at any one time in the waiting area (based on the 4 sq/m rule)
- Students are asked to proceed upstairs to our studios unaccompanied. Parents to drop off downstairs.
- If your child is under 8 years old and you feel they are unable to be left in the waiting room on their own, you can wait with your child until the teacher has called them in. Parents will then be asked to leave.
- If you are unwell and show symptoms, are a close contact and need to be in isolation or awaiting COVID test results, please stay home and conduct your lesson online at your scheduled time.
ADJUSTMENTS TO LIVING WITH COVID
What happens if someone from our community is COVID positive?
- If someone in our community is identified as being COVID positive, we will immediately close our studios. Anyone currently at the studio will be notified and physical lessons will stop and switch to online lesson mode. Our studios will commence the necessary deep clean and we will only reopen upon the approval of the Public Health Unit. This might be anywhere from 2 to 5 working days.
- Upon the advice of best infection control measures, relevant students and parents will be contacted as quickly as possible about what you need to do next.
